Alberto
Pagan-Matos,
CFA, has 20 years of experience
in the financial industry. He earned his MBA Degree from the University
of California at Berkeley in 1992, and a BA in Finance and Economics
from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1987. He earned
his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2002.
Alberto began his career on Wall Street as an equity analyst for Nomura
Research in the Global Infrastructure Team. He then became the Head
for HSBC Institutional Sales & Trading advising investment firms
and pension funds with their equity & debt holds in Emerging Markets.
He spent 15 years based in New York working at various international
financial conglomerates, including Morgan Stanley, for the past 10
years. Most recently, he was the Director for Morgan Stanley's Global
Wealth Management in Miami overseeing over $5 billion in client assets
among 40 Financial Advisors. His regulatory licenses include 7, 9,
10 and 65.
Alberto is married to Maria Aviles and they have two sons, Diego and
Emilio.
